Athletic Training Services

head-training

Athletic Training services at Milton Academy are provided for students in grades 6-12. The Athletic Training room is located next to the Herbert G. ’24 and Esther B. Stokinger Fitness Center on the second floor of the Athletic and Convocation Center.

The Athletic Training staff consists of Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainers. The Athletic Training staff works in conjunction with the 24/7 Health Center, Counseling Center, Skills Center and Dean’s office to help support the students of Milton Academy. Milton Academy is affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital of Milton. Milton Academy offers priority appointments with both hospitals.

Certified athletic trainers are health care professionals who specialize in prevention, treatment, management and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses resulting from physical activity. The Certified Athletic Trainers play a role in reaching out to the Milton community to help educate on topics regarding health and wellness. The goal is to be a resource for the Milton Academy community and to provide the best possible healthcare and safety.
