In April, Milton welcomed three speakers to campus—Farah Pandith ‘86, an expert on online hate and extremism; Rabbi David Wolpe, who among other accolades is a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Divinity School; and, Kate Phillips-Barrasso, vice president of global policy and advocacy at Mercy Corps, a global, non-governmental humanitarian aid organization operating in Gaza.

  • Farah Pandith ‘86: On April 2, Farah Pandith, Milton Class of 1986, spoke to the Middle and Upper School about the growing problem of online hate and extremism. Ms. Pandith is an author, foreign policy strategist, and former diplomat. She is currently an adjunct  senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and a senior advisor at the Anti-Defamation League. To view her talk, click here.
  • Rabbi David Wolpe: On April 25, Rabbi Wolpe came to speak to the Upper School about contemporary antisemitism and lessons learned from the Holocaust in observance of Yom HaShoah. Rabbi Wolpe is a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Divinity School, the Max Webb Rabbi Emeritus of Sinai Temple in Los Angeles, and was named the Most Influential Rabbi in America by Newsweek.   • Kate Phillips-Barrasso: On April 29, Kate Phillips-Barasso spoke to the Upper School about Mercy Corps’ global work and, specifically, her own experiences facilitating aid in Gaza. Ms. Phillips-Barasso is the Vice President of Global Policy and Advocacy at Mercy Corps, a global, non-governmental humanitarian aid organization. To view her talk, click here.
